Research Summary
The aim of the project is to develop a spatial model of the Okanagan landscape that characterizes the socio-ecological dynamics of wildfire management and predicts the potential environmental outcomes of wildfire mitigation strategies. For this research, input from local stakeholders and experts will be sought on what mitigation strategies might be acceptable, and what key concerns exist regarding the impacts of wildfire.
